I’m trained in Family Systems Theory, an approach that sees us as being part of systems - couples, families, workplaces, communities, our wider culture. It also sees people as navigating an internal system of thoughts, emotions, beliefs, and that we are informed by our experiences from birth to one minute ago.
I work with individuals using concepts from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, I work with couples and families using approaches from Relational Life Therapy. However, I’m most informed by you and what blocks you from living well.
It’s worth noting that prior to becoming a Masters Level (Mercer University Graduate) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (NY and GA), I worked as a journalist, a broadcaster, a moderator and a group facilitator.
In other words, I’ve been practicing how to act relationally for my adult life.
Let me put that to work for you.
